Plant Manager

Key responsibilities

• Operations management: Supervise all daily manufacturing and production processes to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Safety and compliance: Enforce safety protocols, monitor adherence to health and safety guidelines, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company standards.
• Staff and leadership: Manage plant staff, coordinate schedules, set performance goals, and foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Production and scheduling: Coordinate production schedules to meet facility capabilities, customer requirements, and financial planning.
• Cost control: Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs, manage operational expenses within budget, and investigate cost-saving measures.
• Maintenance: Develop and maintain a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for equipment and the facility.
• Performance and reporting: Monitor key performance indicators, prepare production and performance reports, and maintain all administrative records.
• Continuous improvement: Drive initiatives for continuous improvement, optimizing processes, and enhancing overall productivity.

• Technical expertise and familiarity with industry-standard equipment and processes.
