Job Description

Manage raw material intake, seed processing, treatment, drying, packing, storage & dispatch.
Maintain quality as per seed certification standards.
Record all activities (receipts, processing, testing, dispatch) in manual & ERP systems.
Monitor processing & packing losses; guide team to reduce wastage.
Ensure seed quality (purity, GOT, germination) at all stages.
Dispose scrap/substandard seeds in coordination with HO.
Monthly reconciliation of physical vs system stock.
Manage seed inventory using FIFO; conduct regular stock audits.
Ensure preventive maintenance of all plant machinery & equipment.
Allocate labor & staff efficiently to reduce operational costs.
Train and guide team for peak-season efficiency and error reduction.
Ensure timely license renewals and statutory compliance.
Maintain seed quality through proper storage, testing & purity checks.
Oversee fumigation, insecticide spraying & rodent control.
Manage inventory of seeds, packing materials & chemicals.
Coordinate with marketing & logistics for timely order execution.
Implement cost-saving measures & adhere to budget.
Improve processing efficiency and throughput while maintaining quality.
Schedule activities to ensure timely material supply.
Develop/update SOPs and train teams on maintenance & quality tasks.
Identify improvement areas & conduct team training/coaching.
Optimize energy and manpower utilization.
Stay updated with new manufacturing/processing technologies.
Manage warehouse, hamali, labor bills & logistics.
Perform any additional tasks assigned by management.
