Job Description

As a Plant HR Generalist at Grinntech, located in Ambattur, Chennai, you will play a crucial role in managing the end-to-end Human Resources function at the plant. This solo HR role will require you to be the single point of contact for all HR activities, providing support to both blue-collar and white-collar employees. Key Responsibilities: - Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: - Conduct end-to-end recruitment for all plant-level roles (blue-collar & staff) - Coordinate with local contractors/labor vendors for manpower supply - Conduct employee onboarding and induction sessions - Employee Relations & Engagement: - Address grievances of workmen and staff, ensuring timely resolution - Drive employee engagement initiatives and welfare activities - Maintain healthy industrial relations with contract workers and unions (if applicable) - Compliance & HR Operations: - Ensure compliance with labor laws (PF, ESI, Minimum Wages, etc.) - Manage statutory returns, inspections, and audits - Maintain employee records, attendance, and leave management - Prepare HR MIS reports regularly - Handle documentation related to offer letters, confirmation, separation, etc. - Performance & Training: - Support performance management processes - Identify training needs and organize skill development sessions Qualifications & Skills: - Graduate/Postgraduate in HR, Business Administration, or related field - Minimum 4 years of experience in Plant HR functions (preferably in a manufacturing setup) - Strong knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements - Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills - Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, at Grinntech, you will have the opportunity to be a key enabler of people operations in a growing tech-driven organization.
