Yash Group of Industries is a leading manufacturer and supplier of Machined Castings, Sheet Metal Assemblies, and Hot Forged Components for global OEMs and Tier-1 companies. With 8 manufacturing plants across India and a turnover of INR 4000 Million, the group caters to the Tractor, SUV, MUV, and Passenger Car segments, known for high-quality drivetrain and structural components.

The Plant Head – Wai will be responsible for leading overall plant operations, with key accountability in quality, production, and machine maintenance, to ensure customer satisfaction and timely deliveries. The role requires hands-on leadership in managing production targets, driving team performance, and maintaining operational discipline. Prior experience in drivetrain components for passenger and commercial vehicles is essential.

• Ensure production targets are met with consistent quality and delivery timelines.
• Monitor quality parameters and reduce rework/rejection rates.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in quality and productivity.

• Implement and track preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
• Minimize downtime and ensure machine availability for smooth operations.

• Maintain accurate inventory control of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Coordinate with store and dispatch teams to avoid material shortages or overstocking.
• Ensure FIFO practices and minimize material wastage.

• Supervise and motivate operator and supervisor-level staff for high performance.
• Plan and manage shift schedules to meet production goals.
• Monitor workforce discipline, safety practices, and adherence to SOPs.

• Collaborate with PPC, QA, and maintenance teams for integrated plant functioning.
• Maintain transparent communication with senior management regarding plant KPIs.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 12–15 years of experience in automotive manufacturing, preferably in drivetrain systems.
• Proven experience in managing full-scale plant operations with responsibility for output, quality, and people.
• Familiar with IATF 16949, lean manufacturing, ERP systems, and industrial safety norms.
