Unique Leadership Opportunity to Build a World-Class Facility from the Ground Up Opportunity to Pioneer Innovation in a Pharmaceutical Setting About Our Client Our client is reputed, fully integrated pharmaceutical company with a legacy spanning over eight decades. The company specialises in the manufacturing and marketing of a diverse portfolio of products, including Oral Rehydration Salts (ORS) and ophthalmic formulations. Job Description Lead the end-to-end execution of the greenfield aseptic PET bottling plant project, including design, equipment selection, utilities planning, and facility layout in coordination with project teams and external stakeholders. Ensure regulatory compliance by establishing and implementing SOPs, GMP, QA/QC protocols, and overseeing qualification activities (DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ) with the quality assurance team. Manage trial product runs, FAT & SAT processes to validate equipment and processes against user specifications. Oversee all aspects of commercial plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality assurance, and supply chain management. Drive operational excellence through lean manufacturing, TPM, and continuous improvement initiatives, while maintaining stringent EHS and regulatory compliance. Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team to achieve production targets, cost optimization, and resource efficiency. Develop and manage capital and operational budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met through effective planning and cost control. Foster positive labor relations and implement workforce training programs to enhance skills and productivity. The Successful Applicant Proven track record of setting up and running aseptic PET bottling plants - ideally for CSD, beverages. Hands-on experience in greenfield project execution - from layout planning to commissioning. Strong knowledge of aseptic technologies, and PET bottling machinery. Deep understanding of quality, regulatory, GMP, and EHS norms. B.Tech/ M.Sc/ M.Tech (Food Technology)/B.Pharm/ M.Pharm. Preferably having knowledge of Engineering 15+ years of relevant experience in bottling / beverage industries Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and team-building skills Result-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Should be conversant with the requirements of GMP & Quality systems. Candidate with knowledge of FDA guidelines for Pharma products is preferable.
