Job Overview We are seeking a seasoned Plant Head for Cement to join our team at Expertia AI. This is a senior-level position located in Mumbai and requires a full-time commitment. The ideal candidate will have 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience and will manage plant operations, ensure compliance, and drive efficiency across our cement production unit. Key Performance Indicators (KPI) Increase in operational efficiency and reduction of production costs. Adherence to production schedules and meeting production targets. Improvements in product quality and reduction of defects. Compliance with HSE standards and reduction in incident rates. Optimal budget management without overruns. Successful implementation of lean manufacturing practices. Qualifications And Skills Must have strong experience in plant operations management, particularly in the cement industry (Mandatory skill). Proficiency in budgeting and cost forecasting for plant operations (Mandatory skill). In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance standards (Mandatory skill). Experience in production planning to optimize output and efficiency. Demonstrated skills in cost control and financial oversight of plant operations. Understanding of lean manufacturing principles to minimize waste and improve production workflows. Ability to lead and motivate a team towards achieving operational goals. Strong analytical skills to assess operational efficiencies and implement improvements. Roles And Responsibilities Oversee and manage all operations within the cement plant to ensure high-quality production and efficient processes. Develop and implement production plans that maximize plant efficiency and product quality. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental guidelines and regulations. Monitor and control operational budgets to optimize costs and achieve financial objectives. Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency through lean manufacturing techniques. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align production goals with business objectives. Ensure the maintenance of equipment and infrastructure to minimize production downtime.
