Planning Engineer

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and manage

  master construction schedules

  covering all phases—from excavation to handover—using tools such as

  Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project

  .
• Track project progress against the baseline schedule, identify deviations, and recommend

  corrective and preventive actions

  .
• Perform

  critical path analysis (CPM)

  and conduct risk assessments to anticipate potential delays and propose mitigation strategies.
• Plan, allocate, and optimize

  resources

  including manpower, materials, machinery, and equipment to enhance productivity and minimize bottlenecks.
• Coordinate closely with

  project managers, site engineers, architects, consultants, and subcontractors

  to ensure seamless integration of activities.
• Prepare and present

  daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports

  , look-ahead schedules, and deviation analysis for management and stakeholders.
• Support cost and time control by aligning planning inputs with execution and procurement teams.
• Ensure schedules comply with

  regulatory requirements, safety norms, and project approvals

  applicable to high-rise construction.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in

  Civil Engineering

  or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in

  Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject, MS Project, and Excel

  .
• Strong analytical skills with experience in

  time-impact analysis and CPM techniques

  .
• Solid understanding of

  high-rise construction methodologies

  , sequencing, MEP coordination, façade works, and interior fit-outs.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

• 5+ years of relevant experience

  in planning and scheduling for high-rise or complex building projects is preferred.
