Placement Officer

Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: ₹4,00,000 - ₹6,00,000 per annum (Depending on experience)

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Placement Officer to lead and manage the entire placement cell of our college. The ideal candidate will be the vital link between our students and the corporate world, responsible for fostering strong relationships with companies and ensuring successful campus placements that align with university criteria and curriculum.

1. Corporate Relations & Partnership Development:

• Identify, connect with, and build a strong network of potential recruiters (companies) across various industries.
• Actively pitch the college's talent pool and programs to new companies to expand placement opportunities.
• Organize and host company presentations, pre-placement talks (PPTs), and recruitment drives on campus.
• Negotiate and finalize placement agreements and MoUs with companies.

2. Placement Management & Operations:

• Plan, coordinate, and execute the entire placement process, from scheduling interviews to announcing results.
• Ensure all placement activities strictly adhere to the university's academic calendar, grading system, and curriculum guidelines.
• Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date database of students, companies, and placement records.
• Prepare and present regular placement reports and analytics to the management.

3. Student Development & Training:

• Collaborate with training departments to identify skill gaps and organize training programs (e.g., Aptitude Tests, GD, PI, Resume Writing).
• Counsel and guide students on career options, company expectations, and professional etiquette.
• Ensure students are well-prepared and compliant with placement policies and university criteria.

4. Administrative & Strategic Functions:

• Develop an annual placement strategy and calendar.
• Manage the placement cell's budget and resources effectively.
• Stay updated on current industry trends and job market demands to align college offerings.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be preferred.
• Experience: 2-4 years of proven experience in campus placements, corporate recruitment, HR, or corporate relations, preferably in an educational institution.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the recruitment lifecycle and current job market trends.
• Networking Skills: Exceptional ability to connect with people and build long-term professional relationships.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Organizational Skills: Strong planning, coordination, and multitasking abilities to manage multiple recruitment drives simultaneously.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
