VelivoHR is hiring for one its esteemed client based out of Mumbai .


Title : Head of Placements

The Head of Placements oversees all placement activities, aims to maximize job opportunities for learners, and plays a strategic leadership role in connecting graduates with suitable employers. This role requires building strong industry relations, guiding a team, and ensuring high-quality employment support for students.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor Placement Managers across all centres, driving team performance to consistently achieve placement targets and maintain high standards of service.
  • Build, strengthen, and sustain relationships with HR leaders, recruiters, and corporate hiring partners to create and expand employment opportunities for students across various industries.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive placement strategies and business plans that target specific placement goals, periodically reviewing performance data and adjusting plans for improvement.
  • Organize job fairs, on-campus hiring drives, employer networking events, and other initiatives to promote direct engagement between students and employers.
  • Guide students throughout their placement journey—including career counseling, job readiness training, interview preparation, and support in resume building—to help them secure paid and high-quality positions.
  • Research hiring trends in key sectors (such as IT, BFSI, and more), position EduBridge as a trusted talent source, and adjust strategies to match market demands.
  • Track and analyze placement data and outcomes for reporting and continuous improvement.



Requirements

  • Minimum 9 years of experience in placement services, talent acquisition, or business development—ideally with prior leadership experience and sector knowledge in IT, BFSI, or related areas.
  • Strategic, goal-oriented mindset with excellent networking, relationship management, and mentoring skills, along with strong communication and organisational ability.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, database management, and digital recruitment tools; MBA or equivalent degree preferred.
