Job Description

We are hiring a Placement & Retention Officer for our Skill Development Training Center to manage end-to-end placement and post-placement support for candidates trained in the Nursing and Banking sectors. The role involves identifying suitable job opportunities, coordinating with recruiting companies, supporting candidates after joining, and ensuring minimum 5 months retention. The candidate will act as a key liaison between the recruiting companies, candidates, and our organization. Key Responsibilities Identify and coordinate job placements for Nursing and Banking sector candidates. Maintain strong relationships with hospitals, healthcare institutions, banks, NBFCs, and other recruiters. Ensure smooth onboarding and joining of placed candidates. Track candidate performance and ensure minimum 5 months retention. Regularly follow up on work environment, attendance, salary disbursement, and job satisfaction. Address and resolve candidate or employer concerns proactively. Conduct pre-placement orientation, motivation sessions, and career guidance. Act as a communication bridge between recruiting companies, candidates, and internal teams. Maintain placement data, reports, and documentation. Required Skills Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills Excellent motivational and oratory abilities Ability to counsel, guide, and convince students Good problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills Comfortable with field coordination and follow-ups Basic knowledge of MS Excel, reporting, and documentation Preferred Qualifications Graduation in any discipline (HR / Management preferred) Experience in training & placement, skill development, recruitment, or counseling Exposure to Nursing, Healthcare, Banking, or BFSI placements is an added advantage Why Join Us Opportunity to work in a high-impact role shaping careers Direct interaction with reputed recruiting partners Growth-oriented environment with leadership exposure
