Job Description

Job-Role: Performance Testing Engineer

Job-Location: Pune

Experience required: 3 to 9 years

designing, developing, and executing performance tests (load, stress, endurance)

Test Design & Scripting:
Design and develop performance test scripts (Vuser scripts) using LoadRunner's for various protocols (Web HTTP/HTML, TruClient).
Scenario Creation:
Create realistic load scenarios in LoadRunner Controller, simulating thousands of concurrent users.
Test Execution:
Execute load, stress, soak, and endurance tests, monitoring system behavior under pressure.

Analyze results (response times, throughput, errors, resource utilization) using LoadRunner Analysis and monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, PerfMon).
Pinpoint performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and scalability issues.
Reporting:
Prepare detailed performance test reports and communicate findings to project teams and stakeholders.
Collaboration:
Work with developers, QA, and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues and tune applications.
Test-Data Management: Generate and manage test data for non-functional testing.

Required skills:

Experience:
Proven experience in performance testing with Micro Focus LoadRunner
Testing Types:
Expertise in load, stress, endurance, and spike testing.
Tools:
Proficiency with LoadRunner
