Performance Test Engineer

As a Performance Test Engineer for our esteemed client, you will be responsible for the following: - Possessing 10-15 years of relevant experience in Performance Testing and Performance Engineering. - Demonstrating proficiency in JMeter and custom coding. - Having good knowledge in Java/Python programming. - Showing an in-depth understanding of the performance engineering process and various types of tests such as load, stress, endurance, stability, and resiliency tests. - Exhibiting expertise in Test Planning, Test Strategy, workload model design, Test case design, Test Environment Setup, Test Data Setup, and Defect Management. - Demonstrating good experience in NFR gathering from scratch for performance testing projects. - Having the ability to comprehend hardware and software architecture. - Possessing excellent skills in scripting, design, and execution of Non-functional tests using JMeter, with knowledge of various protocols like HTTP/HTML, Rest, Queues, Web Services, and asynchronous requests. - Having good experience in API performance testing. - Showing proven excellent system performance monitoring skills using APM tools like AppDynamics, DataDog. - Having experience with Agile/DevOps performance engineering methodology. - Good to have knowledge in Frontend Performance testing. - Good to have experience in leading a team or mentoring junior resources. - Being a good team player. - Having excellent communication skills to interact with different stakeholders.
