Job Description

The People Operations Specialist position at Panzura in India requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional to manage the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to compliance with local labor laws. As a key partner to team members and managers, you will ensure a positive experience while helping to scale people processes as the business expands. Candidates must be based in Pune and work from the office regularly, as no relocation support is provided. Although the role is remote, candidates should be located in Texas or Wisconsin due to regional requirements. **Required Skills & Abilities:** - Must reside in Pune and be available for in-office work - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Exceptional organization and task management abilities - Proficient problem-solving skills with a proactive approach - Attention to detail and ability to handle tasks independently - Capacity to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information **Required Education & Experience:** - Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification - 3-5 years of relevant HR experience - Experience with a US-based company is advantageous - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite **Job Responsibilities:** **Recruitment and Onboarding:** - Manage the complete recruitment process for all roles in India, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding - Maintain the recruitment database and create job descriptions - Implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent - Support the onboarding of new hires in India, ensuring a seamless experience - Collaborate with hiring managers and serve as a reliable HR resource **Employee Relations:** - Handle general people ops inquiries and address employee requests in India - Serve as the primary contact for the India team regarding HR policies and procedures **Compliance and Policy Implementation:** - Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations - Develop and update HR policies as required - Conduct regular audits to ensure HR practices align with legal standards **Benefits:** - Assist with local benefits inquiries and provide support as necessary - Aid the team with benefits enrollment and queries **HR Administration:** - Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records - Facilitate the performance management process, particularly for the local team - Support global HR projects and initiatives **Office Administration:** - Coordinate with IT for laptop shipment and setup - Manage employee access to office space - Fulfill occasional general office responsibilities as needed,
