Job Description: Panzura is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented People Operations Specialist to join our India team. This role is responsible for supporting the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, HR administration, performance management, and compliance with local labor laws. The People Ops Generalist will act as a key partner to team members and managers, ensuring a positive experience while helping scale our people processes as the business grows. Candidates are required to live in Pune and work regularly from our office. No relocation will be supported. While this role is remote, due to the regional needs of the position, candidates must be located in either Texas or Wisconsin to be considered. Job Requirements: Required Skills & Abilities Must live in Pune and available for in-office work Excellent verbal and written communication skills Highly organized and able to manage assigned tasks with little follow up Great problem-solving skills and a desire to bring solutions Attention to detail with little oversight Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information Required Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 3-5 years of relevant HR experience Experience working for a US based company is a plus Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Job Responsibilities: Recruitment and Onboarding Manage full recruitment process for all roles in India including job postings, sourcing, screening resumes, interviewing candidates, and onboarding new hires Maintain recruiting database Build job descriptions Implement and support recruitment strategies to attain top talent Support the orientation process of all India new hires ensuring a smooth onboarding process Partner with hiring managers and be an excellent HR representative to them Employee Relations Help manage general people ops inquiries to triage employee requests in India Act as a point of contact for India team regarding HR policies, procedures and programs Compliance and Policy Implementation Ensure compliance with all local employment laws and regulations Develop and update HR policies as needed Conduct regular audits of HR practices are compliant with legal regulations Benefits Assist with local benefits questions and support as needed Support team with any benefits enrollment or benefit queries HR Administration Ensure accurate and up to date employee records are maintained Help run performance management process year-round, especially for local team Assist with assigned global HR projects and initiatives Office Administration Partner with IT for the shipment and setup of laptops Manage access for employees to office space Light general office responsibilities may be asked from time to time
