Job Description

As a People & Culture Manager at Greenvironment Innovation & Marketing India (P) Ltd in Chennai, you will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle to ensure a positive working environment and foster workplace culture aligned with sustainability principles. Your responsibilities will include: - Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: - Drive recruitment efforts for technical, business, and leadership roles. - Manage hiring pipelines for Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs) and interns. - Focus on building a strong employer brand and enhancing candidate experience. - Employee Experience & Engagement: - Design and implement employee engagement programs, recognition initiatives, and wellness activities. - Act as the primary point of contact for employee queries, grievances, and support. - Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and implement action plans to enhance the culture. - Performance & Growth: - Support KPI/OKR-based performance management systems. - Track appraisals, promotions, and probation confirmations. - Facilitate training programs for technical, leadership, and behavioral skills. - Develop succession pipelines for critical roles. - Culture & Values: - Incorporate Greenvironment's values of sustainability, innovation, and collaboration into HR practices. - Lead Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) initiatives. - Promote transparent communication across leadership and teams. - People Operations & Compliance: - Ensure compliance with labor regulations such as PF, ESI, Shops & Establishments, POSH, and UAE labor requirements. - Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and documentation. - Organizational Development Support: - Collaborate with Directors and Business Heads to address workforce needs. - Provide HR insights through dashboards on attrition, hiring, and training participation. - Support HR integration for new subsidiaries like Mu Sustainability Pvt Ltd, UAE, and USA entities. Key Competencies required for this role include: - 5-8 years of HR/People management experience, preferably in scaling companies in tech/startup/sustainability sectors. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Knowledge of HRMS tools (Zoho People preferred) and Indian/UAE labor laws. - Ability to balance people care with compliance and process discipline. - Problem-solving skills with high empathy and cultural sensitivity.,
