We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Manager to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will manage payroll and employee compensation, ensure compliance with statutory regulations, and maintain accurate employee records.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Employee Master Management:

  • Update the employee master database with information on new joiners, resignations, and changes in compensation.
  1. Tax Declaration and Proof Collection:

  • Collect tax declarations and investment proofs from employees for accurate tax computation.
  1. Payroll Processing:

  • Process payroll, generate payslips, and circulate them to employees promptly.
  1. CTC Reimbursement Validation:

  • Check and validate Cost to Company (CTC)-related claims and ensure proper processing and accounting in SAP.
  1. Payroll Entry

  • Responsible for passing salary entries post payroll processing in SAP.
  • Including off-roll salary & reimbursement before the due date.
  1. TDS Computation and Reconciliation:

  • Prepare inputs for the deposit of Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) on due dates and perform reconciliation.
  1. Statutory Compliance:

  • Prepare inputs for the deposit of Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Professional Tax, and other statutory requirements.
  • Responsible for professional tax compliances like challan payment and return filling, etc. 
  1. TDS Returns and Form 16 Preparation:

  • Prepare quarterly and annual TDS returns and generate Form 16 for employees.
  1. Employee Advance and Reconciliation:

  • Handle employee advances, imprest accounts, reconciliations, and settlements.
  1. Full and Final Settlement:

  • Process full and final settlements for resigned employees, ensuring all dues are settled accurately and promptly.
  1. Payroll Software and SAP HANA Expertise:

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge and expertise in using payroll software and SAP HANA.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in payroll processing, tax compliance, and employee compensation management.
  • Proficiency in using payroll software and SAP.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
