Job Title: Payroll & Compliance Location: Gurgaon Experience: 4-8 years Industry: Clothing & Apparel Apply: Share Resume over Shiwangi.v@launchers.co.in or 8130732507 Preference: Immediate Joiners | 15 days or Serving Notice Period Job Summary: The Payroll and Compliance is responsible for managing the accurate and timely processing of payroll while ensuring the organization's adherence to all relevant labor laws, tax regulations, and internal policies. This role involves maintaining compliance with legal standards and company policies to minimize risk and ensure smooth payroll operations. Key Responsibilities: - Process end-to-end payroll for employees, including salary, bonuses, deductions, and benefits in compliance with company policies and legal requirements. - Maintain and update employee payroll records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations, including tax filings, social security, and other statutory contributions. - Coordinate with HR and finance departments to verify employee attendance, leave, and other data impacting payroll. - Prepare and submit payroll reports and documentation for audits and internal reviews. - Monitor changes in payroll legislation and implement necessary adjustments to payroll procedures. - Assist with year-end processes such as issuing tax forms (e.g., W-2, 1099, or equivalents based on location). - Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly. - Support compliance audits and liaise with external auditors or regulatory bodies as needed. - Maintain payroll software systems and ensure data security. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field preferred. - Proven experience in payroll processing and compliance management. - Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, labor laws, and tax compliance. - Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. - Strong communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality. - Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
