Summary

  • Responsible for end-to-end payroll management, ensuring accurate and timely salary processing for employees while maintaining statutory compliance, addressing employee queries, and supporting audits.
  • The role requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and coordination with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Job Summary

  • The Payroll Advisor will manage end-to-end payroll operations for the India entity, ensuring timely and accurate salary processing, statutory compliance, and excellent employee service.
  • This role demands attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective coordination with internal teams, vendors, and compliance partners, playing a key role in supporting the India Payroll Manager.

About the Role:

  • Monthly Payroll Processing Verify payroll inputs (attendance, LOPs, bonuses, new hires, exits), check payroll calculations, and validate outputs before processing.
  • Statutory Compliance & Filing Manage EPF, ESI, PT, LWF, and TDS deductions/payments; provide accurate data for statutory filings (e.g., ECR, Form 24Q) within deadlines.
  • Employee Query Resolution Address queries related to salary, tax, and reimbursements promptly.
  • Payroll Reconciliations Reconcile payroll with finance, GL, and bank payment files.
  • Audit Support & Documentation Prepare payroll reports and maintain audit trails for internal/external audits.
  • Full & Final Settlement Process exits, including notice pay, leave encashment, and other dues. Payslip & Form 16 Distribution Generate and distribute monthly payslips and annual Form 16s.
  • Income Tax Declarations & Proof Verification Manage employee tax declarations and coordinate year-end investment proof collection for accurate TDS.
  • Vendor Coordination Liaise with payroll vendors, banks, and compliance partners to ensure smooth payroll delivery.

About You:

  • Bachelors degree in Commerce, HR, or related field (preferred).
  • 2-5 years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a multi-location environment.
  • Understanding of Indian payroll laws, statutory compliance, and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, SAP, Workday) and MS Excel.
