Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Pastry Chef to join our team at The Leela Ambience in Gurugram. The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with a strong background in pastry cuisine.

Roles and Responsibility

Prepare and cook high-quality pastries, cakes, and desserts to perfection.
Develop and implement new dessert menus and recipes to enhance customer satisfaction.
Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring minimal waste and optimal costs.
Collaborate with other chefs to create cohesive and innovative culinary experiences.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
Train and supervise junior staff members to ensure excellent customer service.

Job Requirements

Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a reputable establishment, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of pastry dough preparation, baking techniques, and decorating methods.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work well under pressure, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, staying up-to-date with trends and techniques in pastry cuisine.
