Purpose
The Director - Paid Media role is designed to spearhead and oversee robust paid media strategies aimed at driving business growth, elevating brand visibility, and achieving exceptional performance metrics within a designated region. This position is pivotal in aligning media plans with client objectives, fostering innovation, and ensuring optimal budget utilization for maximum impact.
Key Accountabilities -
Team Leadership & Development
- Define goals, KPIs, and performance expectations for senior leaders and their teams.
- Collaborate with HR to attract, recruit, train, and retain top talent for the performance marketing function.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the performance marketing team, fostering skill development and a culture of continuous improvement.
Client Relationship Management
- Develop and oversee client-specific strategies to achieve business objectives, focusing on lead generation, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and ROI.
- Drive upselling and cross-selling initiatives to enhance client value and revenue.
- Address client escalations, ensuring exceptional service delivery and satisfaction.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key regional clients, nurturing strong relationships and ensuring consistent performance outcomes.
Revenue And Profitability Growth
- Own the P&L for the region, driving profitability and achieving or exceeding financial targets.
- Drive revenue growth through client acquisition, retention, and strategic account expansion.
Campaign Performance Management
- Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of performance marketing campaigns across digital channels (search, social, display, etc.).
- Conduct high-level audits to ensure campaigns are achieving KPIs and adhering to industry best practices.
- Collaborate closely with media buying teams to refine budget allocation and bidding strategies. Data-Driven
Decision Making
- Champion a data-first approach, leveraging advanced analytics and reporting tools for informed decision-making.
- Regularly monitor and analyze key campaign metrics (CPL, CPA, ROAS, CTR, etc.) to identify and act on opportunities for improvement. Partner & Platform Relationships
- Manage and nurture relationships with media partners such as Google, Facebook, and others, securing platform support.
- Ensure access to beta features, exclusive media-buying opportunities, and other advantages offered by external partners
Technical Skills
- Expertise in major digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta, Bing, Microsoft, LinkedIn, Facebook, programmatic advertising)
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills (e.g., Google Analytics, Excel, data visualization tools)
- Proficiency in campaign management and bid optimization strategies o Knowledge of B2B strategies like ABM and BANT lead generation o Familiarity with SEO principles for cross-channel campaign alignment.
