Outbound Lead - Warehouse Operations

As an Outbound Lead Warehouse Operations at APM Terminals in Narsapura, Kolar - Karnataka, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functioning of a 3PL warehouse. Your role will involve managing operations, ensuring process compliance, coordinating with clients, and driving continuous quality improvement to maintain efficient and profitable warehouse operations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Oversee end-to-end warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, order processing, picking, packing, and dispatch while adhering to defined SOPs and safety standards. - Coordinate with transportation and customer service teams to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods. - Lead, supervise, and motivate warehouse staff, develop manpower plans, and conduct regular team meetings and training programs to enhance efficiency. - Act as the operational point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring client KPIs and SLAs are met and addressing any escalations promptly. - Monitor warehouse budgets, control costs, track operational performance against financial targets, and implement measures to improve profitability. - Implement quality control processes, conduct regular audits, ensure compliance with HSE standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. **Qualifications & Experience:** - Graduate in any discipline, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations. MBA/PGDM in Logistics/Supply Chain Management is an added advantage. - 5-10 years of relevant experience in warehouse/logistics operations, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or assistant managerial role within a 3PL setup. - Strong knowledge of WMS, inventory control, and order fulfilment processes. - Proficient in MS Office and reporting tools, familiarity with automation and MHE operations. - Strong leadership, team management, planning, organizational, and analytical skills. - Effective communication, interpersonal skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and customer-focused approach.
