Job Summary

Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) Business Analyst


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business users to gather, analyze, and document business requirements specific to banking products and services.
  • Translate banking business processes into ORMB functional specifications and user stories.
  • Define and validate billing and revenue recognition rules in compliance with banking regulations.
  • Conduct business impact analysis for changes related to products, fees, or regulatory policies.
  • Work with technical teams to design support testing teams on ORMB solutions tailored to banking requirements.
  • Support UAT, production validation, and provide post-implementation support to banking stakeholders.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in ORMB.
  • Required Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience

      as a Business Analyst working on ORMB implementations, ideally in the

      banking industry

      .
    • Strong domain knowledge in banking operations such as:
    • Retail banking products
    • Interest computation
    • Fee structures
    • Revenue recognition and regulatory reporting (e.g., IFRS, GAAP)
    • Hands-on experience with ORMB modules like:
    • Rating and Pricing
    • Billing and Invoicing
    • Revenue Allocation and GL Integration
    • Proven ability to write BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and testing artifacts.
    • Strong communication skills to interact with business stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams.
    • Experience with both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.


    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in ORMB upgrades, cloud deployments, or integrations with core banking platforms (e.g., Finacle, Temenos, Flexcube).
    • Proficiency in SQL for data validation and reconciliation.
    • Knowledge of reporting tools and reconciliation processes.
    • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools.


    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or related field.
    • ORMB certification or training is a plus.
