Role Overview:

The Operations Manager will oversee the end-to-end execution of domestic trips across India, ensuring seamless planning, coordination, and delivery of experiences. This role demands strong leadership, vendor management, and organizational skills to maintain top service quality as Youthcamping expands into Kerala, Kashmir, Northeast India, Andaman, Meghalaya, Rajasthan, and other destinations.

You will be responsible for vendor partnerships, logistics, SOP development, quality control, and team coordination to create exceptional trips.

Key Responsibilities:1. Trip Planning & Execution:

• Plan and finalize itineraries, transport, accommodations, meals, and permits for fixed departures.
• Ensure smooth execution from sales booking to on-ground delivery.
• Explore and onboard new destinations to expand Youthcamping’s offerings.

2. Vendor & Partner Management:

• Negotiate and manage partnerships with hotels, homestays, transporters, guides, and local operators.
• Build a strong network of regional vendors in Kerala, Kashmir, Northeast, Andaman, and Rajasthan.
• Maintain quality service while optimizing trip costs and profitability.

3. Team Coordination & Leadership:

• Work closely with the sales, social media, and field teams to ensure alignment.
• Train and guide trip captains and field staff for smooth trip operations.
• Build a reliable operations support team as the company scales.

4. Customer Experience & Quality Control:

• Monitor service quality, safety protocols, and traveler satisfaction.
• Address escalations, emergencies, and complaints swiftly during trips.
• Implement feedback systems to enhance customer experience.

5. Process & System Development:

• Build and refine SOPs, checklists, and reporting systems for trip execution.
• Track budgets, costs, and margins for all trips.
• Use technology to streamline bookings, vendor communication, and operations tracking.

Key Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism, Business, Hospitality, or related field (preferred).
• Experience: 2–6 years of experience in travel operations, hospitality, or event management (experience in domestic travel destinations preferred).
• Strong vendor management, negotiation, and budgeting skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple trips and deadlines simultaneously.
• Languages: Hindi & English fluency required; Gujarati is a plus.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills; able to handle crisis situations effectively.
• Passion for travel and willingness to travel across India when needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
