Manager – Field Operations (Anti-Theft & Mobility Solutions) Company: Umbrella Protection Systems Location: Multiple States across India (Mining / Industrial Clusters) Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview The Field Operations Manager will be responsible for on-ground execution of Umbrella Protection’s anti-theft solutions including GPS systems, e-seals, and monitoring hardware. The role involves team leadership, inventory control, vendor coordination, and operational reporting across assigned regions. Key Responsibilities Manage field teams responsible for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of GPS, e-seals, and related hardware Plan and monitor deployment schedules at mines, plants, depots, and transit routes Ensure inventory management of devices, accessories, tools, and consumables Coordinate hiring, training, and performance management of technicians and supervisors Monitor SLA adherence, uptime, and quality of field execution Conduct route validations, audits, and surprise checks to prevent theft and system misuse Liaise with client site teams, security personnel, and transporters Prepare daily / weekly / monthly operational reports Escalate critical incidents and coordinate resolutions with the central operations team Ensure compliance with safety, security, and company SOPs Required Skills & Qualifications Diploma / Graduate (Engineering preferred but not mandatory) 5–10 years experience in field operations, logistics, telecom, IoT, or security solutions Strong people management and coordination skills Experience in inventory control and vendor management Comfortable working in remote / mining / industrial locations Good communication and reporting skills Basic understanding of GPS, tracking systems, or electronics preferred Key Attributes Hands-on and execution-focused Ability to manage dispersed teams Strong ownership mindset Comfortable with travel and site-based work
