Operations Manager - Payment Gateway / Switch Development (Fintech)-Dombivli-Palawa-Immediate Joiner

Responsibilities

We are hiring an operations Manager with strong expertise in Payment Gateway & Switch Operations. The role involves overseeing daily payment transactions, settlement & reconciliation, compliance management, and coordination with banks, networks, and internal teams to ensure smooth and secure payment processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of payment gateway and switch (authorization, routing, settlements, reconciliation).
• Monitor transaction success rates, downtime, SLA adherence and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Coordinate with banks, card networks (Visa, MasterCard, RuPay), NPCI (UPI, IMPS, NETC) for operational support.
• Handle merchant onboarding, documentation, KYC, compliance & risk checks.
• Ensure RBI, PCI-DSS, and security compliance in all processes.
• Prepare and publish MIS, SLA, and performance reports.
• Collaborate with product, technology, and customer support teams for escalations and process improvements.
• Drive operational efficiency, process automation, and cost optimization.

Desired profile of the candidate

• 6-12 years in operations management within Fintech / Payments / Banking domain.
• Strong knowledge of payment gateway, switch operations, UPI, IMPS, RuPay, Visa, MasterCard.
• Hands-on experience in settlement, reconciliation, chargebacks, refunds, dispute handling.
• Experience managing SLA/KPI-driven operations, audits, and compliance.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, power BI / MIS tools.

Education

• Graduate in Engineering / IT / Finance / Business Administration.
• MBA / PG in Operations / Finance (preferred).
