Business Analyst - Payment Gateway / Switch Development (Fintech)-Dombivli-Palawa-Immediate Joiner

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in Payment Gateway & Switch Development to join our Fintech team. The role involves requirement gathering, documentation, and coordination with banks, networks, merchants, and internal teams to deliver world-class digital payment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document business & functional requirements (BRD, FRD, User Stories).
• Define API specifications, transaction flows, and process diagrams for payment products.
• Work with banks, networks (Visa, MasterCard, RuPay, UPI, IMPS, etc.), and internal teams for solution design.
• Support SIT, UAT, and Go-Live of payment gateway/switch projects.
• Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, PCI-DSS, fraud & risk frameworks.
• Collaborate with product, technology, QA, and operations teams for smooth execution.

Desired profile of the candidate

• 4-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Payments / Fintech / Banking Technology.
• Hands-on experience with Payment Gateway, Switch Development, APIs, UPI, IMPS, RuPay, Visa, MasterCard.
• Strong knowledge of authorization, settlement, reconciliation, chargebacks, merchant acquiring/issuing flows.
• Excellent documentation skills (BRD, FRD, API specs, process flows).
• Familiar with tools: JIRA, Confluence, Postman, Swagger, MS Visio/Lucid chart.
• Strong communication & stakeholder management skills.

Education qualification

• Bachelors degree in Engineering / IT / Finance / Business Administration.
• MBA / PG in relevant field (preferred but not mandatory)
• Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications, including Visio
• Proven ability to manage projects and user testing
• Extensive experience with data visualization
• High proficiency in technical writing

Product Management (e.g., designing financial products), Digital Payments (optimizing payment systems), Risk & Compliance (ensuring adherence to regulations), and Data Analysis & Strategy (using data to drive financial inclusion and strategic decisions). These areas require deep expertise in specific fintech technologies, regulatory frameworks, and market trends to bridge business needs with technical solutions
