Job Description

Operations Manager – Wire Industry

Location: Chandrapur, Maharashtra

Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/Diploma –Mechanical/Metallurgical/Production Engineering

Experience Required: 5+ Years (Wire Drawing, Pickling & Patenting Processes – Wire Industry)

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee end-to-end operations of Wire Drawing, Pickling & Patenting units.
Plan, schedule, and monitor daily production to meet delivery and quality targets.
Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
Manage operational costs, reduce wastage, and optimize resource utilization.
Lead, mentor, and monitor the shop-floor team for performance and productivity.
Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams for smooth workflow.
Enforce strict compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Prepare production reports, analyze performance gaps, and implement corrective actions.
Strong knowledge of Wire Drawing, Pickling & Patenting operations.
Proven leadership, team-handling, and problem-solving skills.
Hands-on exposure to process optimization, productivity improvement, and cost control.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
