Operations Manager – Back Office (Wealth Management)


Key Responsibilities


Client Engagement & Service

  • Liaise with HNI/UHNI clients and banking/wealth partners to ensure smooth operational support.
  • Maintain high service standards by providing timely and accurate responses to client requests.


Transaction Management

  • Handle transactions related to

    Mutual Funds, PMS, and AIFs

    across NSE NMF II / BSE Star MF / other platforms.
  • Ensure accurate execution and reconciliation of purchases, redemptions, switches, and systematic transactions.


Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare and deliver

    taxation reports, portfolio statements, and capital gain reports

    for clients.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all back-office records and client documentation.


Compliance & Risk Control

  • Adhere to SEBI regulations, KYC/AML requirements, and internal compliance policies.
  • Support audit processes and ensure all operational practices meet regulatory standards.


Process & Efficiency

  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and improve operational workflows.
  • Drive automation and reporting enhancements for better client experience.


Qualifications & Skills


Education

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, or related field.
  • NISM XA & XB certification preferred.


Experience

  • Minimum

    5+ years

    of experience in operations or client servicing within

    banks, wealth management, or financial services

    .
  • Prior exposure to handling client transactions in

    Mutual Funds, PMS, AIFs

    is mandatory.


Skills

  • Communication

    : Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to confidently engage with sophisticated clients.
  • Operational Expertise

    : Strong knowledge of wealth management transactions, reporting, and reconciliation.
  • Client-Centric

    : Ability to understand client needs and deliver accurate, timely solutions.
  • Analytical

    : Proficiency in preparing

    taxation reports, client statements, and MIS reports

    with high attention to detail.
