Operations Manager

As a Plant Manager, your role involves ensuring plant safety and compliance with safety standards set by company safety committees. You will be responsible for maintaining product quality, food safety, and efficiency while working closely with the QC Department. Your duties also include managing materials, packaging, and raw materials to meet scheduling requirements in a timely manner by collaborating with the purchasing and inventory manager. Key Responsibilities: - Prevent nonconformities related to product, process, or quality system and provide solutions to correct deficiencies - Control further processing or delivery of nonconforming products until issues are resolved - Collaborate with Finance to ensure compliance and understanding of plant operation's profit and loss - Track and be accountable for all applicable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) - Partner with QC to ensure compliance with food safety, product quality, and regulatory standards - Foster a culture of continuous process improvement in facility, processes, and personnel - Ensure well-trained and motivated staff through effective leadership and communication - Conduct plant meetings with production staff and supervisors to review performance and goals - Manage cost and manufacturing components to optimize efficiency and compliance - Develop capital investment plans for the facility and oversee project planning and execution - Contribute to company strategy and culture as a member of Senior Management Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree preferred - 3 years of experience in operations and total work preferred Please note that the job type is Full-time, Permanent and the work location is in person.
