Job Title: Operations Manager

Department: Hotel Operations / Executive Office
Reports To: General Manager
Supervises: Department Heads (as assigned), Duty Managers, and Operational Staff

Job Summary:

The Operations Manager supports the General Manager by overseeing the daily functioning of key hotel departments, ensuring smooth operations, guest satisfaction, team performance, and profitability. The role acts as a bridge between strategy and execution across all service areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and coordinate daily activities of operational departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Maintenance, etc.).
• Ensure all departments meet service, quality, and safety standards.
• Support department heads in managing schedules, resources, and resolving issues.
• Oversee guest satisfaction initiatives and handle escalated complaints professionally.
• Work closely with the GM to implement business plans and operational goals.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms, public areas, dining outlets, and back-of-house for cleanliness and maintenance.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures across operations.
• Monitor staff performance and training needs to maintain service excellence.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, health & safety guidelines, and licensing requirements.
• Collaborate with HR, Sales, and Finance departments for cross-functional support and planning.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Degree/Diploma in Hotel or Business Management.
• Hospitality experience of at least 1-3 years.
• Strong organizational and multi-departmental coordination skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in hotel software systems (PMS, POS, Inventory, etc.).
• Flexible, proactive, and detail-oriented mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
