Job Description

Role Overview: As the Operations Manager in the food processing industry, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety and quality standards. Your role will involve managing the supply chain, procurement, and inventory to maintain smooth production flow. You will lead cross-functional teams, implement quality control measures, and develop strategies for cost reduction and process improvement while maintaining high product quality. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee day-to-day food processing operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with safety and quality standards. - Manage and optimize the supply chain, procurement, and inventory to maintain smooth production flow. - Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure all products meet regulatory and company standards. - Develop and execute strategies for cost reduction and process improvement without compromising quality. - Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, ensuring high productivity and adherence to company policies. - Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished products. - Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, FSSAI standards, and industry best practices. - Collaborate with senior management to set and achieve operational goals. Qualification Required: - Bachelors/Masters degree in Food Technology, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field. - 5-10 years of experience in food processing or FMCG industry, preferably in dry fruits or related sectors. - Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, quality control, and process optimization. - Experience in production planning, inventory management, and cost control. - Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office for operations management. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate with teams and stakeholders. Additional Details: The company prefers candidates with experience in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other operational efficiency methodologies, as well as knowledge of automation in food processing for enhanced productivity.
