Maldives – Resort Construction Project

Position Overview

The Operations & Logistics Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all logistical and operational activities for a luxury resort project in the Maldives. This role ensures smooth supply chain management, efficient resource allocation, and seamless operations in a remote island environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Logistics & Supply Chain

Plan and manage procurement, shipping, and delivery of materials, equipment, and supplies to the resort site.

Coordinate with international and local vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective logistics.

Oversee customs clearance, freight forwarding, and transport arrangements.

  • Operations Management

Develop and implement operational procedures for construction and resort setup phases.

Ensure efficient allocation of manpower, equipment, and resources.

Monitor daily operations to maintain productivity and quality standards.

  • Inventory & Warehousing

Establish and manage inventory control systems for materials and consumables.

Supervise warehousing, storage, and distribution activities.

  • Compliance & Safety

Ensure logistics operations comply with Maldives regulations and company policies.

Collaborate with HSE teams to maintain safe handling and transport of goods.

  • Stakeholder Coordination

Liaise with project managers, contractors, suppliers, and government authorities.

Act as the central point of contact for logistics and operational issues.

  • Reporting & Optimization

Prepare regular reports on logistics performance, costs, and operational efficiency.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 7–10 years of experience in operations and logistics management, preferably in construction, hospitality, or resort projects.
  • Strong knowledge of international shipping, customs regulations, and supply chain practices.
  • Experience working in remote or island-based projects is highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹140,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • minimum: 10 years (Preferred)
