Monitor KPIs and operational performance metrics to identify improvement areas. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Process Improvement Analyze existing processes and recommend enhancements to increase efficiency. Implement lean, Six Sigma, or other operational methodologies where applicable. Drive automation or digitization initiatives to improve performance. Team & Resource Management Supervise and mentor operational staff; manage team schedules and workload. Recruit, train, and develop team members to meet operational demands. Ensure adequate resource allocation (manpower, equipment, and materials). Cross-Functional Coordination Collaborate with departments such as HR, Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, and IT. Facilitate communication between teams to resolve operational bottlenecks. Support senior management with data, reports, and decision-making insights. Budgeting & Reporting Assist in preparing and managing operational budgets. Control operational costs and identify reduction opportunities without impacting performance. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly operational reports for management. Customer & Vendor Management Oversee customer service standards and address escalated issues. Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely supply of goods/materials. Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts as needed.
