Job Description

Govt Business Development - Tendering Specialist

Location:

Job Purpose:

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor government & PSU tender portals (e.g., GeM, CPPP, state e-procurement) and identify relevant opportunities.
Lead end-to-end tendering: evaluate, prepare, compile and submit bids, proposals, and documentation.
Coordinate with internal teams (technical, finance, legal) for compliant and competitive proposals.
Build and maintain relationships with government departments, procurement officers and decision-makers.
Prepare capability statements, pitch materials, and strategic inputs for bid decisions.
Track tender outcomes, follow up on submissions, and support contract negotiations.

Skills & Experience:

5 10+ years in government/PSU tendering, business development, or bid management.
Strong understanding of e-procurement systems and public sector procurement rules.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines efficiently.
