Essential Qualification: Diploma in Gemmology and Diamonds from institutes like GIA (G.G), Gem-A (FGA) or equivalent. Experience: Minimum 2 years in laboratory environment or certification of coloured gemstones and diamonds. Role & responsibilities : Testing and Identifying all types of gemstones and their synthetic and treated counterparts, using standard gemological tools. Grading of polished diamonds (loose and mounted) on the basis of International System. Recording of all descriptive and gemological data of gemstones using all gemological instruments. Creation and upgradation of data bank on regular basis. Operation and analysis of samples on all available instruments, including advanced equipment such as FTIR, EDXRF, LRS, UV-Vis-NIR spectrometers, etc. (Training will be provided on using these instruments). Explaining technical details to clients addressing their concerns regarding a report / identification Providing all required information to the clients / visitors Maintenance of the instruments being used
