O&M Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a Solar O&M Engineer with strong Excel and reporting skills to join our team. The role involves managing solar power plant operations across multiple sites while preparing detailed performance reports, MIS dashboards, and data analysis for management review. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical understanding of solar O&M along with advanced Excel proficiency.

• Key Responsibilities:Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of solar plants, including inverters, transformers, and modules.
• Monitor plant performance using SCADA and prepare daily/weekly/monthly generation reports.
• Develop and maintain Excel-based dashboards, using formulas, pivot tables, and charts for performance tracking.
• Perform root cause analysis of breakdowns and highlight action points with data-backed insights.
• Automate reports and data tracking using Excel Macros/VBA to improve efficiency.
• Maintain spares inventory, site documentation, and O&M compliance checklists.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and the central team for smooth operations.
• Ensure strict adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) protocols.
• Requirements:Diploma/B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in Solar O&M (Rooftop or Utility scale).
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Index-Match, Conditional Formatting, Macros).
• Experience in MIS reporting, data analysis, and performance benchmarking.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and willingness to travel across India.
