NPD Manager

As a New Product Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading the agenda of developing new products and ensuring their successful implementation. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading the New Product Development agenda by researching, assessing new product ideas, and preparing reports for the Business Plan. - Developing new products through Technology Transfer/Development that are globally accepted and contribute significantly to growth. - Managing the end-to-end process of NPD projects, from conceptualization to commissioning, including idea generation, requirement analysis, prototype designing, production support, and quality improvement. - Strategizing innovative products in collaboration with various departments to meet user needs. - Coordinating the entire process development cycle to enhance existing products and services. - Developing new processes, conducting validations, trials, testing, and commencing production while maintaining relevant documentation. - Writing technical documentation and monitoring product specifications. - Leading a team of 8-10 engineers and providing training to enhance their skills and techniques. Skills required: - Sound experience in Design and Development of products, materials, and techniques in the home furnishing field. - Strong exposure to the new product development process. - Good interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills. - Knowledge of different types of materials and manufacturing processes. - Familiarity with machines, tools, zigs, and fixture development. - Strong leadership qualities and the ability to meet deadlines. - Keeping up to date with market and technology changes affecting new product development.
