Role Overview:

Senior Backend Developer (Node.js)

Note: We are currently considering candidates who are available to join immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Architecture
: Architect, develop, and maintain
secure backend systems
using Node.js with a focus on
financial-grade compliance and security standards
.
Payments & Integrations
: Build and optimize APIs for
payments, settlements, digital wallets, and third-party banking integrations
.
Compliance-Driven Development
: Ensure systems align with
regulatory frameworks
(PCI DSS, GDPR, PSD2, Open Banking, KYC/AML).
Transaction Systems
: Design
high-volume, low-latency
systems with fraud detection, risk scoring, and reconciliation mechanisms.
Collaboration
: Work closely with product, compliance, DevOps, and frontend teams to deliver end-to-end fintech solutions.
Reliability & Monitoring
: Implement
robust logging, monitoring, and alerting systems
for mission-critical fintech operations.
Innovation
: Stay updated with
fintech trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies
(e.g., blockchain, real-time payments, API-first banking).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

3+ years
of backend development experience, with at least
3 years in fintech applications
.
Proven expertise in
payments, wallets, transaction processing, and banking APIs
.
Strong knowledge of
Node.js
and microservices/distributed system architectures.
Hands-on experience with
PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis
.
Cloud proficiency (
AWS, GCP, or Azure
) with a focus on
scalable, secure deployments
.
Deep understanding of
security protocols
(OAuth2.0, JWT, TLS, encryption, tokenization).
Prior experience in
fraud detection, chargebacks, and reconciliation systems
is a strong plus.
Strong debugging, optimization, and performance-tuning skills.
Ability to thrive in
fast-paced, compliance-driven fintech environments
