We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled NOC Engineer to join our 24x7 Network Operations Center team and support our secure operations.

Role Overview

As a NOC Engineer, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and supporting our network and security infrastructure. You will be responsible for identifying and escalating incidents, ensuring system uptime, and working closely with our cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless, secure operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network, system, and security infrastructure for alerts, performance issues, and anomalies.
• Respond to incidents promptly, perform initial triage, and escalate to the SOC or engineering teams as necessary.
• Document and track incidents, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to support threat detection, containment, and response efforts.
• Perform routine health checks, maintenance tasks, and system validations.
• Maintain and update documentation and NOC runbooks.
• Participate in a rotating shift schedule, including nights/weekends/holidays (as needed).
• Assist in the implementation of monitoring tools and automation scripts.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1–2 years of experience in a NOC, technical operations, or network/system support role.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and common threats (malware, phishing, DDoS, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPNs).
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, SolarWinds, Nagios, Splunk, or similar).
• Familiarity with ticketing and incident management systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and multitask effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, CCNA, or equivalent.
• Exposure to SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Q Radar, or ELK stack).
• Experience working with cybersecurity or SOC teams.
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
