Job Description

About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic

Networking Engineer

to manage, maintain, and optimize our network infrastructure.The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of network systems, routers, switches, firewalls, and network security principles.You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, high performance, and reliability of the company’s IT network and connectivity.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
Monitor network performance and ensure continuous uptime and security.
Troubleshoot and resolve LAN/WAN, VPN, and internet connectivity issues.
Manage and maintain wireless networks and IP-based systems.
Configure and monitor firewall and antivirus systems to protect network integrity.
Implement and maintain network policies, procedures, and documentation.
Support IT teams in system upgrades, patch management, and network optimization.
Coordinate with internet service providers (ISP) and vendors for network-related issues.
Assist in planning and implementing new network solutions or improvements.
Maintain asset inventory, cabling layout, and backup systems.

Required Skills

Strong understanding of LAN, WAN, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, and VPN.
Knowledge of Cisco, Mikrotik, Juniper, or Fortinet devices preferred.
Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, PRTG, Nagios).
Hands-on experience in network troubleshooting and configuration.
Basic understanding of network security and firewall management.
Good communication and analytical problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Educational Qualification

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.
Certifications like CCNA / CCNP / CompTIA Network+ will be an added advantage.

Preferred Experience

Experience in network administration, IT infrastructure, or technical support.
Exposure to data center environments or enterprise networks preferred.
Freshers with good technical knowledge and learning attitude are welcome.
