Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage

  LAN/WAN architectures, hybrid cloud connectivity, and network security solutions

• Configure and maintain

  VPNs, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, and Cloud Interconnect

  for secure cloud integration.
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize

  AWS VPCs, Azure Virtual Networks, and GCP VPCs

  , including subnetting, routing, and security groups.
• Manage and secure enterprise

  firewalls

  (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet FortiGate, Checkpoint, Juniper SRX, Zscaler).
• Implement

  SD-WAN solutions

  (Cisco Viptela, Versa) and Spine-Leaf architectures.
• Ensure compliance with

  cybersecurity frameworks

  by implementing threat prevention, SSL decryption, and zero-trust models.
• Work with

  cloud automation tools

  (Terraform, Ansible, Python scripting, Jinja2 templates) to streamline deployments.
• Conduct

  log analysis and network monitoring

  using tools such as Wireshark, Cisco Prime, Infoblox, SolarWinds, Splunk, FortiMonitor, and NPM.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot network issues and improve system reliability.
• Provide technical leadership in

  network performance optimization, security hardening, and incident response

  .
• Stay updated with emerging network and security technologies to recommend and implement improvements.

Preferred Technical Skills

• Network Technologies:

  LAN/WAN Architecture, TCP/IP, VPN, VLAN, VTP, NAT, PAT, STP, RSTP, PVST, MSTP, SDN, VXLAN, EVPN, ACI.

• Cloud & Automation:

  AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP, Cisco Meraki, Terraform, Ansible, Python.

• Security:

  PAP, CHAP, Zero Trust (Zscaler), Sourcefire IDS/IPS, Blue Coat, Palo Alto Wildfire, Threat Prevention.

• Monitoring & Management:

  Wireshark, Cisco Prime, Infoblox, SolarWinds, Splunk, FortiMonitor, Micro Focus NNMi, Log Analysis.

• Operating Systems:

  Windows Server, Linux, Cisco IOS, IOS XR.

• Firewalls:

  Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet FortiGate, Checkpoint, Juniper SRX, Zscaler.

Certifications (Preferred)

• CCNA

  – Cisco Certified Network Associate

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer

• GCP Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer

• (Additional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or Azure certifications are a plus)
