Network Security Engineer

As a Network Security Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and efficiency of our network infrastructure. With over 10 years of relevant experience, you will be responsible for administering and supporting F5 Load Balancers, developing iRules for traffic management, configuring Cisco routing and switching infrastructure, and integrating cloud-based load balancers into hybrid network environments. Key Responsibilities: - Administer and support F5 Load Balancers (LTM, GTM) including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting. - Develop and manage iRules for traffic management and security optimization. - Implement and support Network Load Balancing (NLB) technologies in both on-premise and cloud environments. - Configure and maintain Cisco routing and switching infrastructure. - Support and integrate AWS/Azure cloud load balancers into hybrid network environments. - Troubleshoot application and connectivity issues related to network ports and protocols. Required Skills: - Deep understanding of F5 LTM, GTM, iRules, and NLB. - Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches. - Knowledge of cloud-based load balancing in AWS and Azure. - Strong understanding of application ports, protocols, and networking fundamentals. Desirable Skills: - Experience in complex, enterprise-grade network environments. - Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and documentation abilities. - Familiarity with security best practices in network design and configuration.
