Job Description

Primary Title: Network Engineer

About The Opportunity

A fast-paced organization operating in the IT Services & Network Infrastructure sector, delivering enterprise connectivity, managed networking, and secure WAN/LAN solutions across India. We design, deploy, and support high-availability network environments for business-critical applications and require hands-on network engineering talent to run on-site operations.Role & Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and WAN appliances for on-site enterprise networks across multiple locations in India.
Design and implement routing protocols and backbone services (BGP, OSPF, MPLS) to ensure resilient, low-latency connectivity.
Troubleshoot complex network issues using packet captures, log analysis, and diagnostic tools; restore services with minimal downtime.
Manage firewall policies and security configurations (FortiGate and similar), enforce segmentation, and support VPN and remote access services.
Monitor network health using NMS tools, respond to alerts, and perform capacity planning and firmware upgrades during maintenance windows.
Maintain accurate network documentation, change records, and runbooks; collaborate with cross-functional teams for project delivery and incident resolution.

Minimum Qualifications

Proven hands-on experience working on enterprise LAN/WAN networks in an on-site capacity.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, QoS, NAT, and network security best practices.
Ability to work day shifts on-site in India and participate in scheduled maintenance windows or on-call rotation when required.
