Job Title: Network Administrator

Location: Client Site (Head Office / Data Centre / Branch Offices as assigned)

Experience Required: Minimum 4 years of network maintenance experience, including at least 2 years post-certification (CCIE / CCNP / CCNA / JNCP), with experience in fiber optic network setup and maintenance.

Job Summary:

The Network Administrator will be responsible for the design, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of the Client’s network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and fiber connectivity. The role requires expertise in configuring and troubleshooting network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls, along with maintaining high availability, performance, and security of all network links, particularly those using optical fiber connections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, and data center networks with fiber optic backbone connectivity.
• Install, configure, and support network devices such as switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless controllers (Cisco / Juniper).
• Oversee the setup, termination, and maintenance of fiber optic links, including splicing, testing, and performance verification.
• Implement and manage routing and switching protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP.
• Monitor and troubleshoot fiber connectivity issues using OTDR and related diagnostic tools.
• Ensure network uptime, redundancy, and optimal performance through proactive monitoring.
• Configure and manage VLANs, VPNs, ACLs, and firewall rules for secure access control.
• Maintain and update network documentation — including topology diagrams, fiber route maps, and configuration backups.
• Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for link commissioning, issue resolution, and capacity upgrades.
• Support disaster recovery, failover testing, and business continuity planning for network infrastructure.
• Implement network security best practices to safeguard data and connectivity.

Qualifications and Certifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in network administration and maintenance.
• Minimum 2 years of post-certification experience in one or more of the following:
• Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• Juniper Networks Certified Professional (JNCIP) / Associate (JNCIA)
• Strong understanding of fiber optic networking, cabling standards, and transmission parameters (single-mode, multi-mode).
• Practical experience with Cisco IOS and/or Juniper Junos OS.
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, QoS, and routing protocols.
• Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, or equivalent).
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Hands-on experience in fibre termination, patch panel management, and OTDR testing.
• Familiarity with routing and switching , SD-WAN, and network automation
• Knowledge of load balancing, and wireless technologies.
• Exposure to enterprise network infrastructure projects.
• Experience Client and User management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
