Job Description

Primary Title:

Senior .NET Developer

About The Opportunity

We operate in the IT services and enterprise software sector, delivering scalable web and cloud applications for clients across finance, healthcare, and e-commerce. We are hiring an on-site .NET Developer in India to join a delivery-focused engineering team building secure, high-performance backend systems and APIs used in production environments.Role & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and .NET Core for enterprise web applications.
Build and consume RESTful APIs, implement API versioning, authentication, and efficient data access patterns with Entity Framework and SQL Server.
Develop features in ASP.NET MVC applications, write optimized queries, and manage database migrations and schema design.
Create and maintain unit and integration tests; implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows using Azure DevOps and Git.
Participate in code reviews, enforce coding standards, and collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality releases on-site.
Troubleshoot production issues, profile and optimize application performance, and produce clear technical documentation.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

Proven hands-on experience building production applications with C# and .NET Core
Experience with ASP.NET MVC and Entity Framework for data access
Strong SQL Server skills including query tuning and schema design
Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs
Familiarity with Git and pipeline automation using Azure DevOps
Solid understanding of unit and integration testing practices (xUnit/NUnit/MSTest)

Preferred

Experience with Microsoft Azure platform and services
Frontend integration experience with Angular or similar SPA frameworks
Containerization knowledge using Docker
