Job Description

As a Sales Manager at our leading chemical company, you will play a crucial role in meeting Year on Year Budgeted Sales Targets for your assigned region, customer base, or segment. Your responsibilities will include developing a strong Opportunity Pipeline and building relationships with Process Licensors, EPCs/PMCs, and LSTK contractors. Your main areas of responsibilities and key activities will involve developing lasting customer relationships, identifying industry/market trends, and meeting or exceeding sales targets. You will also need to identify customer requirements, collaborate with local and global teams to offer solutions, negotiate and close deals with customers, and provide operational guidance for effective execution of customer commitments. In addition, you will contribute to building and implementing strategic sales plans that expand the customer base, ensure competitive advantage, and sustainable business. You will be responsible for identifying and developing new customers and applications leading to profitable future business. Keeping market intelligence updated and aligning with corporate key account strategy will also be part of your role. You will need to influence decision-makers within and outside the company at all levels, drive actions/decisions, and conduct special projects to generate more business with a specific regional or segment focus. Providing accurate sales forecasts, collaborating with supply chain and logistics teams, and managing Channel Sales Partners for effective business development will be essential. As part of your Technical Account Management responsibilities, you will develop an understanding of our products, applications at customers, strengths, weaknesses, and craft powerful value propositions. Managing related product/process risks and liabilities, building trusting customer relationships, and providing basic technical services including troubleshooting advice will be crucial. **Qualifications Required:** - Education: Bachelor/Masters in Chemical or Master in Business Administration preferred - Working Experience: Minimum 5-10 years in Sales of Catalysts or Technical sales to the chemical industry - Technical & Professional Knowledge: Knowledge of key petrochemical value chains and catalytic processes will be an added advantage. Understanding of basic catalytic operations is necessary for this role.,
