Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Managing critical relationships with top strategic large key accounts for the segment across the country and drive “One Thermax” objective.
  • Driving the Annual Business plan for Order Booking, Sales, Gross Margins for the identified enterprise accounts across India
  • Driving strategic association with critical stakeholders of different SBUs/PUs
  • Leading negotiations and overseeing the timely submission of competitive bids (both technical and commercial offerings).
  • Driving the effectiveness of sustainability programs and mitigate strategic gaps on products.
  • Tracking sustainability strategies of key accounts, analysing their sustainability plans and converting it to a business plan. Researching ways that a key account can reduce its carbon footprint.
  • Understanding the amendments/alternation in Govt policies and its implication on Thermax business & key accounts.
  • Analysing complex data sets to develop sustainability frameworks and strategies for multiple scales of projects.
  • Understanding trends and best practices in corporate sustainability, with a particular focus on energy & environment sectors.
  • Participating in workshops, seminars of local associations & Govt bodies on sustainability.
  • Business development & complete asset management for the customers.

Critical Competencies

  • Track record of successful sales leadership with large corporate/ key customers, preferably with multi business/division environment.
  • Knowledge on sustainable solutions in one or more areas of renewable energy, decarbonisation, solar, hydrogen, water and wastewater treatment solutions, automation.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • High customer centricity & high ownership levels.
  • High collaboration and influential skills - working in multi business environment / across stakeholders.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Application knowledge in Food & Beverages, Pharma & Chemical sectors will be an added advantage.
  • Willing to travel extensively across the country.
