Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting Officer

Role Description

We are seeking a dynamic and expert Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting Officer to act as a catalyst for the Education program team, ensuring effective program monitoring, evaluation, reporting, impact assessment, and documentation. The role also supports program implementation and sustainability by providing data-driven insights, strengthening systems, and promoting evidence-based decision-making.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement program Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting (M&E) frameworks, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and timely reporting.
  • Design and manage tools, systems, and databases for effective data collection, analysis, and impact assessment.
  • Generate monitoring reports, dashboards, and performance analyses to support evidence-based decision-making.
  • Conduct field visits to verify data, monitor program progress, and document success stories and best practices.
  • Prepare and consolidate high-quality internal and donor reports, ensuring compliance with standards and deadlines.
  • Build staff capacity on M&E processes, data management, and reporting to strengthen program accountability and learning.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree/PHD in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Statistics, Economics, Public Policy, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Reporting within the development or social sector.
  • Strong knowledge of M&E frameworks, logical frameworks (LFA), theory of change, and impact assessment methodologies.
  • Proficiency in English and Marathi
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, Power BI, KoboToolbox, or similar platforms).
  • Demonstrated experience in report writing, data visualization, and donor reporting (CSR, government, or international agencies).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to train and mentor teams in M&E systems and data management.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for field monitoring and data verification.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and Strong Interpersonal skill
