About the role

Seeking a Mobile App Developer to design, build, applications for Android and iOS. The role involves collaborating with product, design, and backend teams to deliver performant, secure, and user-centric mobile experiences aligned with business goals.

Key responsibilities

Design, develop, and ship production-grade mobile apps for Android and iOS with clean, testable code.

Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to define requirements, scope features, and deliver iteratively.

Integrate RESTful APIs/GraphQL, third‑party SDKs, and platform services

Optimize app performance, responsiveness, startup time, network usage, and battery/memory footprint.

Implement automated tests (unit, UI) and participate in code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes.

Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across devices, OS versions, and build variants.

Ensure adherence to design guidelines, accessibility, localization, and security best practices.

Monitor app health post‑release (crash analytics, logs, performance metrics) and drive continuous improvements.

Contribute to the technical team in design documents, architecture decisions, and internal best practices.

Stay current with platform updates, frameworks, and tools; propose improvements and deprecation plans.

Required qualifications

2+ years of professional experience in mobile development with a strong portfolio of shipped apps.

Proficiency in at least one native stack:

Cross‑platform experience with React Native or Flutter.

Experience integrating APIs, handling offline sync/caching, and secure data storage.

Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Espresso, XCTest, XCUITest) and analytics/crash tools (Firebase, Sentry).

Git proficiency and experience with CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions, Bitrise, Fastlane).

Solid grasp of UI/UX principles, platform guidelines, and accessibility.

Strong debugging, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Nice to have

Android: Kotlin (preferred) and/or Java, Android SDK, Android Studio, Jetpack (ViewModel, LiveData/Flow, Room, Navigation), Coroutines.

iOS: Swift (preferred) and/or Objective‑C, Xcode, UIKit/SwiftUI, Combine/Grand Central Dispatch, Core frameworks (e.g., Core Data).

Experience with performance tooling (Android Profiler, Instruments), Proguard/obfuscation, and app signing/distribution.

Exposure to maps, location, camera, in‑app purchases.

Experience with A/B testing, feature flags, Remote Config, and analytics pipelines.

Backend basics (REST/GraphQL concepts), WebSockets, and security

Key success metrics

Crash‑free sessions, ANR rate, cold start time, bundle size, battery and memory usage.

On‑time feature delivery, test coverage, and code review quality.
