Responsibilities
Job Description
RFP/RFI/RFQ Management
- Lead the end-to-end process of responding to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, ensuring timely and high-quality submissions.
- Analyze and understand client requirements, and collaborate with subject matter experts to gather relevant information.
- Lead architectural discussions and solution workshops for design exercises to create E2E solutions and mapping requirements to solution/service catalogues.
- Must be able to lead client discussions, workshops, support presales solutions and deliver on short term discovery, architecture assessments
- Participate in the Review process
- Actively listens and respectfully challenges customers/partners when going in the wrong direction, presents insights and alternatives, and takes action appropriately.
Proposal Development
- Develop and articulate solutions including architecture, implementation, approach, governance mechanism, and commercials, and strategies to address client needs as outlined in the RFP/RFI/RFQ.
- Collaborate with various teams (technical, sales, legal, etc.) to create comprehensive and persuasive proposals.
Qualifications
Qualifications/Preferred Skills:
- 10+ years of experience
- Should have worked independently in preparing proposal presentations, solution architecture definition, estimations, differentiator positioning and RFP responses
- Review documentation for proposal submissions, ensuring adherence to guidelines and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Maintain accurate records of past proposals and leverage lessons learned for continuous improvement.
- Experience using proposal management tools and software.
- Certification in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect)
- Must have breadth of knowledge across all technology areas (Application, Middleware, Integration, Data, security, DevOps, Cloud, AI/ML etc. at architecture level)
- Experience in preparing detailed responses for RFIs, RFQs, RFPs.
Technical Expertise
- Possess understanding of enterprise architecture principles, IT systems, and emerging technologies to provide informed responses to client inquiries.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate relevant technologies into proposal strategies.
- Knowledge of Generative AI, LLM Models is a good to have.
- Experience developing and implementing enterprise IT strategy for clients.
- Expert level of knowledge and experience in Application Solutioning.
- Experience in API design, API development & Management.
Collaboration
- Experience in leading solution/technical architecture team to define complex enterprise architecture and implementation roadmap and present/defend solution to client CTO/EA team and align with business and IT stakeholders Experience in architectural.
- Work closely with sales, solution architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment between proposed solutions and client expectations.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to design comprehensive and compelling proposals that align with the organization's or customers strategic goals.
- Mentor the team in architecture and technology area and drive reusable assets build. Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather input from key team members.
- Guide and direct junior Presales resources for proposal authoring, coordination & overall bid management.
